The monks have been walking for alms daily since the hermitage opened. Some have asked where and when we walk, so we’re posting our current schedule and interactive maps of our routes.
This traditional monastic practice offers the opportunity for local members of the community to connect with the monks and offer support to sustain the monks for their daily meal. Please feel welcome to approach us with any questions or offerings you may have. It's quite simple and uncomplicated.
Also, food can be offered at the hermitage between 10-11am.
Please note that we are unable to cook or store any food, and our monastic rule forbids us from accepting or using money.
